WanderAI (“we”, “us”) operates this website for educational and demonstration purposes. This policy describes what information we process when you use the service and how we use it.

Information you provide

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a password hash. When you create itineraries, we store the trip details you submit (destination, dates, preferences, etc.) and any budget figures you enter.

Automatically collected data

We use cookies or similar mechanisms for authentication (e.g. session tokens) so you can stay logged in. Server logs may include IP address, timestamps, and request metadata typical of web hosting.

Third-party services

Itinerary generation may use Google’s Gemini API; weather data may come from OpenWeatherMap. Those providers receive only what is necessary to fulfil each request (e.g. destination text for weather). Their processing is governed by their respective policies.

How we use information

We use your data to run the app: authenticate you, store your itineraries, generate plans, and show forecasts. We do not sell your personal information.

Retention and security

We retain data while your account exists or as needed for the service. We apply reasonable technical measures (e.g. password hashing, HTTPS in production) but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

You may stop using the service at any time. Depending on deployment, account deletion may require contacting the operator. You may also have rights under applicable law (e.g. access, correction) where such laws apply.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
